Policies

• The device loan period is 30 days while the semester is in session; there is no penalty for returning the device early; renewals will be based on availability
• One device per individual available on a first-come, first-served basis
• Any stored data, installed apps, or other information will be erased after the device is returned
• UWA is in no way responsible for the recovery of lost or corrupted data
• UWA is not responsible for attaching the device to other hardware; examples include but not limited to WiFi networks, printers, monitors/projectors/televisions
• UWA is not responsible for supporting software added by the user
• Replacement cost of up to $800.00 for a lost or damaged laptop/$600.00 for a lost or damaged iPad
• Replacement cost of up to $150.00 for a damaged laptop/iPad screen
• Replacement cost of up to $50.00 for a lost or damaged power adapter
• $5.00 per day late fee, up to $35.00; thereafter, the full cost of the device will be charged
